These Uniform Fee Schedule Guidelines are an attempt to provide uniformity among the various service provided by the Register of Deeds Office.

If an instrument does not meet these requirements, the Register of Deeds shall record the document after collecting the non-standard document fee as required by GS 161-10(a), in addition to the standard recording fee.
